Privacy & diagnostics

Spark Tray is built to be local-first: the media you download, convert, and transcribe is processed entirely on your own device.

• Optional diagnostics only. Crash reports and usage analytics are both optional and can be turned off at first launch or any time in Settings ▸ Privacy & diagnostics.
• No sensitive content, ever. Diagnostics never include your URLs, filenames, or the content you process. At most they include which utility was used and a general category of any error — never the specifics of your files or links.
• The bandwidth exchange never sees your data. It shares spare network capacity only; it does not read or transmit anything you download or create. See The bandwidth exchange for details.
